So what are some good racing sims?

I'm planning on picking up a g25 wheel once I get a replacement lens (:( http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=107311 ) and am wondering about different games. I know there is GTR2, and once there are enough games to get the PS3, there will be GT5, but what are some other good games that I can use the wheel for (meaning it uses the clutch/h pattern)?

Should I wait until there are more games out?

Live for Speed is a great one /w online play, Project Torque is a mmorg.

The best one i've found as far as physics go (I have not played GTR2, though) is LFS. Really fun, and except for the whole shotgun thing when you hit a barrier, it's pretty realistic.

I keep telling adventure landing (putt putt) that I will so take those initial D 3 machines off their hand when ever they tire of them.

Hahaha I know it's aweful but they are so fun. I say that's the way to go, screw buying a wheel and game, buy a full machine. The ferarri driving simulator is a pretty cool machine and you can usually pick those up cheap-ish. Not real money makers at arcades since most kids don't want to pay a dollar to drive a ferarri driving sim whent hey could pay 50 cents to drive neon and graphic emblazoned unrealisting Fast and the Furious cars.

The best sim out the for the PC is LFS, hands down. The physics are much more accurate than anything else. Yes, it has its problems like any program, but those problems are generally minor annoyances compared to how good the game is overall.

To really get the full experience, you have to race online. League racing is the best for that, but pickup races can be fun too. Pick up races online can be pretty ragged too. You have to just ignore that sort of thing because people on the intranetz can be childish and rude, nothing you can do about that.
