I think a used manual trans IS300 is the best route. Reliability, sharp looks, RWD, straight six with potential... its a winning combo.
I must point out though, this has never been a concern for me, but some of my bigger friends claim the car is too small for them. But if you are coming from an E30, that shouldn't be an issue.
Plus, the chronograph style gauges are cool.

Thanks guys... and really it just has to have the airbags..thats what we are looking for. I am very interested in the IS300 but how are the parts on them? Do they have a reliability issue?
For 15K (some I have at 15.5) I have (new).
Focus (I hate it...but its actually practical)
07' V6 Mustang
09 ES Lancer (16K..alittle out of my price range)
SMART CAR!!
Cobalt (hate it!)
08' VW Rabbit
I would be really interested in the Mini, but I thought those were still REALLY high so I passed.
I really like the IS300's, do they have side airbags? Also, I saw an IS300 wagon and I really liked it.
Thanks again and any more suggestions would be great.Last edited by Mastrcruse; 04-05-2008, 06:20 PM.

Explain to him that american cars hold their value about as well as used tissues. Tell him that you might want to sell the car one day and would like to get some money for it. IDK seems like the argument I would use. You need to take desporate measures, you dont want a focus... but hey, I would take a Focus if somebody else is buying.1987 325is - sold

So where did you get that again? In the dumbass kid section of your local WalMart?
And since you said it, what other cars came with factory "Altezza's"? Another Lexus? And to reiterate, no one called them "Altezza" lights other than gay ass civic owners with ebay clear lights on their cars.
