    Best Motoring: E92 M3 vs IS-F vs S2000 vs 350Z video

    Lets just say I'm pleased with the results, since I despise the IS-F. Kinda surprised by the outcome since Best Motoring always likes to favor the Japanese cars.

    Niice.. finish was awesome..

    Why do you despise the IS-F? Have you drove one? All I can say is that it was bad ass, 400hp and 8 speed dual clutch trans. And who doesnt like a sedan with Recaro's and big brakes.. Yummy

      yea the ISF sucks, and i even work at lexus. i drove it and i dont think there is anything special about it, maybe just the brakes and the fact it has forged bbs wheels. every time someone says its better than the M3 i just feel like punching them in the face.

        I haven't personally, but two good friends of mine took a couple out for a couple laps at SEMA this year and said they were very unimpressed. The biggest thing that kills me about them though is those quad stacked "fake" tail pipes with pea shooters behind them. I have seen them in person and they just do nothing for me.

          As a track car, yeah its worthless. I was talking from a street car point of view. The fake tail pipes are completely retarded.

            I'm not saying the ISF is better than the m3, but I'm curious why you guys think it isn't? It's less than 50 lbs heavier, has a few more horse power, closer gear ratios and is faster 0-60. On top of that, the new m3's brakes are nothing to write home about.

            Is it the lower revving engine you don't like?

              its just that lexus builds crappy cars. if you were around them all day like me, you would understand where these statements are coming from. they are just half ass cars. one good example is the fake exhaust, its even like that on the ls460s and most likely on the ls600s. out the door the ls600s are like 150k!!!

                Car and Driver had a good article on the m3 and Lex. Basically said Lex with all its extra power extra everything its less than a m3. As usual with lexus they built a boring version of a cool car. They said hey "the m3 is a cool car, lets make a boring version and tons of people will love it because they are stupid sheep, YAY!" Just look at the IS350 a boring version of the G35.

                    thats was a good vid, im kinda surprised the s2000 did quite poorly.

                    i dont like the IS-F either, lexus in my mind dont make sports cars, they make luxury sedans. and the looks of the IS-F do absolutly nothing for me, it reminds me of the new lancer infact

                      Well the s2000 is quite underpowered compared to the other cars(and costs less). The fact that its best lap time was within a second of the top of the pack says a lot about the handling of the car.

                      Luckily Tsukuba is a pretty technical course, or else it would've done worse.
