who wants Half-Life 2?

Well, you should want this game because it's like the best FPS ever and if you've updated your comp lately you should be able to run it at full settings to really get the most enjoyment from it. I recommend playing the original Half-Life first, though.

Anyway, I have a free copy to give away on Steam and was wondering if somebody wants it.

The man speaks the truth. Halo doesn't even compare to the greatness that is the Half-Life franchise. The cool thing about Half-Life 2 is that it is split into episodes. There is the original full length game, and on top of that Valve has released two continuations that you can buy via Steam. The third is to be released next year.

CS is a mod of Half-Life 1, while Counter Strike Source is a mod for Half-Life 2

CS:S is definitely worth trying out. But if you want something more realistic I'd go with call of duty 4 or rainbow six vegas 2

Half life 2 is badass even more because of the free mods too.

Dystopia is sick, Empires mod isn't bad, Source Forts, Zombie Master/ Zombie Panic, etc etc etc...just to name a few.

I remember the good old days of HL1 and when CS was in beta...lol.

I was never a fan of CS:S, I've always liked 1.6 better, Half life 2 is one of the best single player games that I've ever played though, its worth looking into.
