Flash Gurus?

I'm having some Flash issues and my brain is fried at the moment.

I am attempting to put multiple movie clips (let alone any) on the stage and Flash is being a stubborn bitch. I can't get it to work...they are simple movie clips too, nothing more than colored shape and motion tweens. I'm going insane over here.

Anyone have any suggestions??

Solved that problem...on to the new ones.

The action scripting for linking an invisible button is becoming quite cumbersome. I've never attempted it and it's not going as planned. Anyone have any thoughts?
