Yea, plus HS is a different animal all together anyway. I'm guessing you guys didnt get to drink on the bus rides home either, while singing all those raunchy songs huh? Did you or are you going to college? And yea i know about throwing those punches, a guy on our team this year punched a UNR(Nevada Reno) player when our player was being wailed on by 2 of thier guys. Guess what the ref saw? red card and game called in Reno's favor. We were down by three and about to score a try. It's always the guy who retaliates who gets caught...in any sport.
Rugby anyone?

Yes, high school was a different animal. I go to Central Washington now, and I played for about half of a season, but I really didn't like it much here. The coach was very much a dick head, and on top of that my high school team was much better. We played this school's team when I was in high school and beat on them. They are Nationally ranked, but still quite poor in comparison. It's amazing what a good coach can do for a team.
I had enough of the coach, and overall shitty play. It wasn't worth the time it took to practice, and getting up early on Saturdays.

My hat is off to you Sir, playing at that level in NZ is nothing to sneeze at. I noticed you call#9 halfback, never heard that, just scrumhalf. We had an exchange student from Auckland play for us my second year in college, and he taught me so much. His experience, combined with the conditioning and training our coaching staff put us through he was unstoppable that year. I hope by the time i have kids there will be leagues for young kids to play in. Did you guys play barefoot back then? Does your team have a web site? Keep me updated and recover quickly.
