My girlfriend and myself are looking at moving to the glendale area for an upcoming teaching position for her. As of right now the plan is for her to work there for a year then move back here eventually. Unfortunately for me i have absolutely no knowledge of the phoenix area and i don't know what i'm going to do for a job. Whoring is good money and all, but the crabs are becoming scorpions they are so enflamed. I figured i could get by on detailing a few of the many fine automobiles that are in the area. I also hear that the economy down there is especially bad compared to MN (all hearsay). Main points- Where should we live? Are there jobs available for me? Should we just avoid the area?

My mom is a teacher in Tucson I dont know about phoenix area but starting pay for a teacher is shit "the sun shine is part of the pay package" used to be motto of the 1st year teachers in AZ. The housing market is crap down there as well so thats not helping, but you should be able to find a decent job. What do you do, my bro knows lots of people down there and has the hook up for all kinds of shit including jobs.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

Is the job she is looking at located in Glendale? I know on this forum we have members from all areas of the Phoenix Metropolitan area, but I personally hate the Glendale/west phoenix area(no offense Devon.) The east valley is where I've been much more comfortable, i.e. Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, and Gilbert. A lot of development is going on in the west side right now, but it's true the house market right now is crap.
Ask some more specific question as opposed to just general questions, and I'd probably be able to help you further. Also check out our local forum www.azbmw.org as we have a broad spectrum of people all over the valley, and state for that matter, on our board.

House market for sellers is a crap shoot, for buyers it is making some great deals become available. Does she know what school she would be working for? What school district? The northern Glendale area is a really nice place. I think it's important to look at your commute to see what the best place to live is. I knew teachers throughout my life who commuted over an hour to get to school. For a multitude of reasons, you wouldn't want that.

scottsdale is where you are going to prob get the most $$ detailing cars.
i live there and love it! south scottsdale is WAY cheaper than north scottsdale. it is also just north of tempe. as far as getting a house with a garage, they are way less common in older houses inless they have been remodeled. most if not all of the newer houses have them though. older houses have "carports". if you go north in the west valley the houses and surroundings get nicer. south glendale, not so nice. because the housing market is rough for sellers there are a lot of nice houses for rent at a fair price. if you come for a visit i can show you arround the tempe/scottsdale area. mesa can be nice to super ghetto, and is populated by a huge morman population. they will be knocking on your door on the weekends at early hours. i lived in litchfield park/ goodyear area for a while an liked it alot, except for the hour commute to go do stuff with my friends on the east side.

Ok so now it is pretty much go on moving to Phoenix. Almost everyone here is repping the eastside and on AZbmw they have been reppin' the west.I really like the Tempe area, but with my girlfriend teaching in glendale (just south of 10 on 67th) it makes more sense to live in the west. If the commute isn't too far, she doesn't mind driving. The school is right off 10 so if its a straight shot on the freeway that is a plus. Where should i look to live? As long as my neighbors have money<they have expensive cars<i have work.
And WTF is javelina?

the is only one answer........scottsdale/tempe.
the freeways here kinda suck, they get way overloaded during peak hours.
good news is that gas is somewhere near the cheapest in the country in AZ. bad news is if she works in glendale and you live in the eastside, you will be burning alot of it to get to work.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen
