Once again, another issue surrounding my pit...

So, some of you are familiar with these issues... I am so fucking fed up it makes me somewhat regret getting a pit but then I remember I pretty much adopted/saved her so I have no regrets. But I will say when ignorant human beings genereate problems in my life due to my dog it's more than infuriating! We move into this apt complex that has a number of breeds non allowed. Everything from German Shepards to Rotts to all kinds of other breeds and no, it's not about size or weight, only breeds. I have a lab and pit, or what for the most part would pass as what everyone considers the infamous "pitbull". So we call her an American Bull Dog and an interview and pet deposit later she's a resident. Same with Lab. Mind you, these interviews are with complete strangers away from me...

Now, I'll admit I could have been a little more intelligent about this but still, follow me. When at home, I leave my patio door open. People walk by and sometimes my Lab will give a couple of generic barks. The Pit doesn't bark at people, only other animals. So, I'm sitting on my couch and a maintenance guy walks by and Garota, the Lab, barks at him. Nothing beyond the generic dog bark. I go out there and he keeps staring back at me. (this guy has been to my apt for service before). Sure enough, not even 10 mins later, the office calls stating my dog was aggresively barking at a passer-by and that they've had multiple complaints about my dogs and she has to go. Furthermore, they start telling me that my dog is a Pit Bull and all this other shit and that they are both aggresive acting dogs. I go into the office and fking hell!!! I can't even speak! I'm getting mad dis-respected by two fkng blonde retarded bitches dictating to me what color dog is what breed and all this other shit that is all manifestation. I can't even speak a sentence and then somehow this bitch is like they both have to go! I don't want to make this long but I can't explain how furious I am about this shit. My dogs interview away from me, I pay LARGE deposits for them and now it seems I may have to move out. I walked right out of the office before I blew up, got back to the apt and called the district mgr and explained everything. Now they are "investigating" the issue. W T F !!!! Fk this place, I don't even want to be here anymore after being treated like a scumbag, no rent paying criminal. Bullshit man...

They tell me I have 24 hours to get rid of my dogs or they will come and take them and charge me for it. Can you believe some shit like that!? At one point, this bitch actually told me I could move out as an option. I cannot understand people like this. On one side it infuriates me to the point of wanting nothing but evil against the person, on the other, I'm just dumbfounded how some people are so infected as to attack a person's well-being like this, their state of life, the most personal day-to-day existence. What do these people have in them that can cause them to so blindy and maliciously take up such words and/or actions. What a cloud they live in. What goes around comes around.

Supposedly, the DM stated he'd dismiss my lease in order for me to move out if it gets there. Although, I believe he'll come back apologizing and asking for me to just keep the dogs down or some shit because all in all, the only fact is that Garota sometimes gives a few barks some of the people who pass by as do most dogs in this bitch...

    Thats horrible

I cant imagine someone making you get rid of your dogs, as long as they have not killed someone else's dogs ( I read your other post how the un-leashed shit head started it) but wow.
wish I could help but we have 6 dogs all ready. My other friend from Dallas says that pit bulls are illegal there, and in the Army town of killeen to.
Something about No dogs with a hinged jaw.
well best of luck man, If anything put them in a kennel. Like renting a storage space for them, at least intill you can have them back in your home.

Dude you can not catch a break lately !! Drink a strong drink or two ( I am sure you are already ahead of me on that comment )

Buy you a house and move out of apartment living. Then people can not tell you what kind of dogs you can have and other things that landlords are good at doing. Plus it builds equity rather than flushing money down the toilet like you are basically doing now.

yeah, I hear you on the catching a break thing but my life has always been filled with crazy trials. I no longer look at them as bad runs of luck or anything of the sort. I've always lived outside the mainstream, conformity, clone, status quo bullshit and while it's a rocky road, I look back and have no regrets, for the most part. Right now, staying in an apt is the most convenient for alot of reasons. Mins from work, mins from school and this complex's amenities are through the roof. Too bad the bitches they have managing this place live on some absurd plane of power-trip, ingorance and arrogance or whatever one would label it. I can't even explain how I was treated in the office. It stills bothers me. It was like I was some criminal off the street or someshit. Like I was their little fkg kid to talk to however they pleased. Insane! People who constantly pay rent late get treated better than I did at that moment. I feel like my house is being watched and could be raided at any moment. Kinda paranoid there but you get the idea. Persecution. also maybe a little extreme but...

And yes, I keeps the drinks flowing.

"Beer is proof that God loves man, and wants him to be happy"

          Benjamin Franklin

Actually, there are many other valid proofs, but I love God, enjoy beer much and admire Ben....

contact the animal welfare league, rabies animal control, etc and ask them about your rights. contact the local housing authority, explain your situation and ask them for advice. does you "pit" have a "canine good citizen certificate"? if not look into getting one. it is like a voucher from the humane society or similar, that states "your dog is of good temperament and well trained in basic commands". it is a class that usually takes 2 weekends to complete. usually that alone will alleviate any issues with renters and landlords.

your dogs are your property. plain and simple. if they have had their shots and are registered, that is it, end of story. the apt management can't come and take your TV, it is your property. same thing with the dogs. now this doesn't guarantee you can still have the right to live there.

have you received mail there yet? if so you have officially taken up residence. you now have renter's rights. you can stay there for a predetermined span of time before they can force you out with the po po. just an idea if you want to be a prick and don't care about the rental history with that place.

does the "pit" have a bite history after your last run in with the "purse dog"? if so that could cause you some problems, if the authorities get involved.

if you can't swing buying a house right now, (most can't, the economy sucks and lenders aren't willing to take a risk) look into renting a house. most of the time it is not much more or the same as an apt. way more freedom, your own parking spots, way more room. if you can rent from an individual instead of a leasing company things can go easier with the dog too.

that sucks, but unfortunately you are prob in for more grief if you live in appts with dogs. people that rent appt tend to get looked down on unfortunately, like they are irresponsible. add a "pit" to the mix and you are another irresponsible asshole with a blood thirsty dog waiting to eat babies, and some will treat you as such. although greatly undeserved, things can play out that way and there isn't much you can do about it.

good luck and keep me posted on the out come

IMHO - an apartment is really no place for a dog. Both for the dog's sake and your neighbors.

But you were right - the apartment management bitches were out of line.

Man, I feel bad for you - you are getting screwed over at every turn.

Moving sucks but if they'll let you out of the lease, I'd try to find a place that isn't run by retarded bitches.

This is the best advice I've heard in a while. A house of your own with fairly relaxed neighbors is the only way you are going to be able to get any rest.

man, thanks for your words bro. You are absolutely right. I had to mention my understanding of some self-fault based on exactly on what you have touched on. Besides, as much as I like to live my life the way I do, I don't see why I haven't made some of those moves yet. Cheers bro!

Something about another part of me enjoying going 'against the grain' all the time. I really need to crush that or better yet manipulate that part of me for the better.. (sorry thinking out loud-on text)
