I'm not out there trying to hurt people, but I too can shoot upwards of 400fps ;)

And to be fair, there are always a group of woodsball people that take the game too GI Joe serious just as the airsoft people :D

Ive got a couple of E-cocker's that I used back when I was playing tourneys and an old spyder from my woodsball days. Now they all just collect dust.

If your serious about getting into it your going to want something more than a spyder. A better marker will fire paint much straighter. When I moved from a spyder to even a mech cocker I noticed a whole world of difference. Buying used is also a good idea and PBN is a good site to work with.

a group of kids with something like you are talking about went around my area last summer lighting up people at bus stops. not only were these people scared shitless, but apparently it actually fucked up some older people - i'll stick with paintball even though the airsoft guns are pretty sick.

It's like the dbag at the open play indoor stuff who get's his gun checked at under 150fps and then changes the spring/etc. out to 350fps+ before the game gets started just to make it worse for others.

It's why when I play (infrequently) I go with a group, not during open play sessions.

Well when you're playing in grassland you have to be able to shoot hard enough to go through grass and bushes and stuff. And you don't have any paint to show that a person is out, so you just have to make it so they don't want to be shot twice.
