well, they must use inferior glass or something. Whatever is used on the iPhone is durable as hell. Mine had taken a beating and it doesn't have a single scratch or mark on it.

      $110 Deductible?!?!?!?!?!

Sprint just raised mine from $3 to $4 a month for full replacement insurance, after the last replacement, and I was going to complain! That's for a $549 HTC6800!

It gives it character. Keep it. My screen is cracked pretty badly due to a getting-undressed-quickly fiasco but meh.

I abuse the shit out of my iPhone and even though the metal and plastic are scratched/dented, the front is fucking spotless.

If you happen to scratch it while showing off its durability to your buddies, it has a lifetime warranty so they ship you a new one right away. You send them your old shield and your warranty continues for life. This is from someone very anal about scratches and finger prints...its well worth it.
+1 have it on my blackberry, phone rides in pocket with keys, no scratchy. It's a pain in the butt to put on, but it's worth it.

this is why I just leave my keys in my car's ignition wherever I go.

so I dont' have keys scratching up my gadgets in my pockets

neighborhood, shopping mall, grocery store, etc.

doesn't matter. There's always a nicer car with a nicer stereo next to me.

But of course sometimes I don't feel safe where my car is, and I do like a 100% lock up. I put the steering wheel and complete head unit (not just the face) in the trunk. Lock my glovebox, do everything. Like say....11pm in downtown long beach and I'm not getting back to my car until 2 or 3am

It wasn't my keys. I don't ever keep anything in my pockets. The only reason my phone was in the cargo pocket was because the shorts I was wearing didn't have a cell pocket.
