Started Drawing Again....

Check it ouuuuut... I was recently in a very bad car wreck and lost my job, so, to pass the time I picked up a pencil and my old book and started drawing again. Not sure what happened to all my supplies, but I ended just using a #2H pencil, knife(for sharpening), blender, and staedtler eraser.
It's not done. I still want to do a background and you can kind of see the sketched outline of the road but at least the rose is complete. I'm fairly happy so far considering I haven't drawn since I was 17.

Total time spent so far is 2 Hours, 37 Minutes. Hope you enjoy.

meh, i was bored and needed something to ease me back into drawing. Florals are usually what come easiest naturally to my style. I dabble in a little of everything but I'm very fond of still lifes. Here a couple I did back in high school...

Pointalism... There are over 10,000 dots and it took me a week. I counted, lol. Can you guess who it is? I'll give you a hint.... He's the lead singer in a band.

oh im not injured, as a matter of fact I walked away from it. I had no means of transportation so they fired me. I bought another jetta cause I loved mine so much, just to realize the guy gave me a lemon so now it's been in and out of the shop(mostly in) for the passed three months. I can't hold a steady job yet without transportation and I've gone broke trying to fix this damn thing. I'm tryin to fix it and sell it asap so i can get my first e30. I never realized how well I care of my jetta until I adopted this one. Good god. I've got pics of the wreck if you want to see...

But you know what? I like it! It's good to see someone posting something so un-e30 related.

I'd love to see what you could do with photoshop and a a wacom tablet!!! That would be awesome.

hey man, I have been fortunate enough to make a living at what I love, drawing and designing, don't play it off as just a past time!!!! You have talent, maybe this is the way of some greater being directing you to the path you are supposed tofollow? Great work, and if anyone tells you its not good they have bad taste and no courage, the problem with todays art is that no one has the balls to post it or show it to people unless it fits a certian "niche" (aka mainstream) I commend yo u on your work and please continue to follow your "feelings" after all that is where all the great masters got their start.....
