    runyourcarwithwater.com

This site cannot be legit, please tell me why. Even if you could run it on hydrogen I doubt your cars computer will adapt to this. Anyhow if anyone has any experience let us know.

    thanks

But steam engines run on HOT water, which requires some kind of fuel to be burned...

Tis a scam. I remember seeing that video on TV. Pretty sure the guy is using electolysis to make what he is burning. It is negative net energy. Costs more to produce the product (in terms of energy) to make than it gives off burning.

Yeah I was gonna say, either 1 of 2 things happen to make hydrogen, its either electrical or chemical.

The video on that site goes against what they say. The show the guy at CES who makes a water powered generator, but since its not plugged in or anything there has to be a chemical reaction taking place. Thats why he goes on about the $20 cartridges you have to keep buying. There must be a "Part B" to add with the water to make it.

              If you look at this

They are saying the same thing, but use electricity to make the gas. Like metalix1021 said, theres no way you can get more energy out of it than what you put in. Getting the HHO gas from water is easy, but it takes a fuck ton of electricity to do it. What they are doing does make your car a "water hybrid" I guess, because you are making the HHO gas, but seeing any fuel economy increase? Very doubtful, especially on the 1 liter of water they have. A damn 2 stroke would suck that bottle dry on its first burn, let alone produce enough to keep it going.

              Edit:

Not to mention, with their math. What would happen if I stuck like 12 of thoe little bottles in my car, would I get like 2,000 mpg? I guess that doesn't seem as believable

My friends got angry with me the other day when I told them that this is waste of time and energy. They kept arguing the point that it's just water and it doesn't matter if you get 15 mpg or 2 mpg if the water is free.

So then I asked "How much electricity does that thing use?" and the room got silent.
