...rocks. Robert Downey Jr. makes the perfect Tony Stark. The music was badass, the cgi was badass. It was just an all around badass movie. I can't wait for the sequel.

I will wait until Mr. Anderson gives hison this movie, before making my decision to check it out. His movie reviews seem to always be a good reference if the movie was worth a damn or not.

Badass, I love all of the Marvel universes and although this doesn't follow the traditional Iron Man, like all the Marvel Studio films, it makes for a good movie. I liked and and am highly awaiting the next two. But if you go...stay after the credits. Nick Fury and the Avengers FTMWF.

Ironman was definitely above average. Looking at is a just a movie, it was good. Looking at is as a COMIC BOOK movie, it was so sweet. Like others have said: the action, the acting, and the effects were incredible. Robert Downey Jr. was perfect. Paltrow played such a ditzy lady. Ay! I am gonna see it at least one more time.

Wow. I was thoroughly impressed. First off, Jeff Bridges made an AWESOME villain, as he's shown in the past with movies like "Vanished". You knew pretty early on though that he was slimy, after some of the magazine covers being shown at the awards show with Stane shown standing behind Stark in several of them. There was definitely tension there. But it was a shame that things didn't end with Stane the way they did in the comic, but I suppose that would have been a little tough to work in.
The special effects in the movie were really good, not much of a hint of too much CGI, it all looked really polished and realistic All of the effects for Tony's home computer systems looked really nice, and all of the suit effects were really well done, but some of the fight scenes with the Iron Monger and Iron Man looked a little cartoonish, a little too fast moving, especially for a machine the size of Iron Monger.
Robert Downey Jr. of course, never disappoints. Always funny, but damn good at being serious when he needs to be, such as in the scene when he convinced Gweneth not to quit on him. And speaking of Gweneth, GOD DAMN, I have never wanted to rail her so hard. That woman should stay a redhead for the rest of her life, she was unbelievably hot. Pretty ditzy though, it got a little annoying. And Terrence Howard was great as the unknowing partner, and had a great line referring to the obvious impending sequel(s) toward the end.
Final score? I say 9 out of 10. This movie isn't going to win any awards (maybe a special effects nod), but it was a damn good time spent at the movies, and well worth the week's worth of earnings they charge for a movie nowadays. Great explosions, awesome soundtrack, Robert Downey Jr, and it's fucking IRON MAN!

PS: Did I say Audi? I'm sorry, I loved it when Ironman and Iron Monger were fighting on the highway and the only car to manage to stop on time (and whose passegers or structural integrity remained still) was the Q8. Oh, and how it managed to run over Ironman like it was all good.Erick Mahle | FullOpp Drift | YouTube
