^^^^ Agreed x 10000000. With fuel prices showing no signs of slowing down, a economical diesel hatch could take the wind out of VWs sales when their new TDIs arrive later this year - they are only offering the diesel in the Jetta sedan and Sportwagon (both still cool IMHO), but an eco-hatch would get my vote.

Its true. But they haven't set a release date. I am waiting for the 120d 5dr. 60.1mpg FTW.

The benzine model will be released well before the diesel though:(

Not likely, we've got a silver 5-door driving around here too. I've seen it a couple of times. The owner imported it last year from Germany.
