    Anyone into model trains?

I have a big N Scale setup in my garage that my dad has been working on for the last 25 years and I have been working on since I was born :)

Its a hobby of mine. Anyone else into this kinda thing?

    ohh dear

I use to have AN EPIC sized HO scale train conglomeration. like huge as fuck..
but when me moved it all went into storage, and eventually my parents couldnt make the paments on it anymore.. so all of it was lost, along with the rest of my childhood..
    but yeah, trains are sweet!

Hells yeah, I have a big collection of Lehman Grossbahn G scale trains that we always set up at Christmas. All the German trains and the german writing at a young age brainwashed me into being a fan of most things teutonic and eventually bmw I think.

I had a huge HO setup for years, but when parents split up and moved, it all went into boxes. One of these days I plan on rebuilding but much bigger than the original.

When I was a kid, I had an HO scale that went around my room and I still have boxes full of Z scale, HO and a bunch more of them.

My family has always been pretty big into railroads, in fact we hold a Patent for an automated uncoupling mechanism for rail yards.

Anyway, my grandpa built me this before I was even born (as soon as he found out I was a boy anyway)

Completely custom, runs on bent steel piping and powered by a 3HP lawnmower engine. Still runs too, have it all intact behind my shop.

I don't have any pictures of my N Scale layout, but it is still together in storage, however here are some shots of the old HO layout that has since been disassembled.

My dad is crazy about model railroads. He tried to get me into it when I was younger but living in a city with no trains, it's hard for me to get into. (Sort of like trying to get someone with no interest in cars into E30's....)

He has a massive HO setup that he's been collecting parts for over roughly the last 60 years
