Probably because VW stands for very weak. They're weaksauce cars. Most of their lineup is JUNK. Jetta...HAH! I'd rather save several grand, and have the more powerful and better looking altima. Passat...HAH! I'd buy anything before I buy a new passat. Phaeton (if they still make it? I forget)...for 90k....why not a fully loaded 750iL or a Benz S550.
