    Hamilton's 150mph opposite-lock

Tailout action in a REALLY high speed section of the Istanbul circuit. The word 'shart' comes to mind.

Turn 8 at Istanbul Park had something like 4 apices, it was amazing to see some of the drivers hold it steady through there. I think Hamilton was one of the few who I noticed resulting to opposite lock.

Another ho-hum performance for BMW over the weekend, Theissen seems to think that Monaco should favor their setup. Hopefully, hopefully.

I sure hope that was sarcasm.

I don't care what you think of Hamilton or any other F1 driver, that is some serious shit there. It takes amazing quickness and a deft touch to keep those cars pointed in the right direction. It is impressive no matter who it is. Hammi is a ham and a bit of a brat in my opinion, but that does not stop me from respecting his driving.

You're correct. Sarcasm doesn't happen in NC

I loved it when Ron said that Hammy had a pole-winning car but that he just over drove it.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

                4th and 5th?

                Started 5th and 9th?

That is DAMN good for BMW who just in the last 2 years has become a GOOD team in Formula 1. Top 3 team in Formula 1 in GOOD.

What are you looking for in their 2nd year as "BMW"?

Check the manufacturer scoreboard. 2nd place man. 2nd place!

And to stay on topic. Kubica's slide was WAY better when he missed pole but was oh so close!

Ay! Another BMW fan. I wasn't beating on them, both Heidfeld and Kubica drove another solid race. That first few races of this year seemed to show BMW as a really strong team that could easily contend with McMerc and Ferrari with ease. The past race or two, particularly with Heidfeld, haven't been that easy. He qualified 9th in Spain, only to finish in the exact same place. Then in Turkey he qualified 9th and finished 5th (not bad, right.) But I just hope they aren't losing whatever it was they had at the beginning of the year. I'd love to see them wedge themselves between Ferrari and McLaren by year's end, but we'll see. It'd be nice to see them live up to (or beyond) the hype.
