Me breaking the law + cop giving me ticket = rates go up = me pissed

Me breaking the law + cop not giving me ticket = rates don't do anything = me happy

Now lets have a theoretical situation to help you better understand this

So what you're saying is, you appreciate when you're given the opportunity to break the law and the police don't ticket you.

Sarcasm aside, the point is these threads go both ways. If that officer would have ticketed you, you'd of posted a thread about how you hate cops in MN. Cops and the tickets don't raise your insurance, you breaking the law does.

You just bought the car. You buy a car at a dealership, Do they make you tow it home because you bought it on Sunday and the paperwork isn't done? Nope. What about a new car, do you have to tow it before the plates get mailed to ya? Nope. Every state I've ever heard of allows 7-14 days for registration, bill of sale, transfer of ownership. You said you had a bill of sale from one hour earlier, that cop was wrong, or the story is missing components, and or fabricated.

its not fabricated. Basically what i learned that night was that even though i am insured, its only the insurance holder (my mother in my case) that can drive a newly purchased car home. I cant drive a just purchased vehicle home which sucks cause that means i either pay more for insurance on my own or i have to get my mom to come and drive a vehicle every time i buy one.

no i have graduated high school and work full time. it is possible that im still under an insurance policy that considers me under 18, or the cop could have been wrong.
