    Audio production guys(?)

I was wondering if anyone has any experiance in the field of audio production.
I'm finally going back to school and I'm going to get my masters certificate through berklee college of music and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me.
I'm going to be studying Pro Tools, Reason and Ableton Live.
I'd also like any advice on buying Pro Tools equipment..I'll post up the class requirements if needed...

    Thanks in advance :>

Find out who your teacher will be, email them. Buy everything with a student discount. What you will need depending what you are focusing on, and that might change. I'd wait (I use to run the board for "large venue" 2000-5000 people - gosh, I had my ears so well tuned back then, you could play me a tone and I could tell you the approximate frequency)

Sounds fun! I have Reason and it is awesome! I still need to get some books on it because at this point it has all been self taught and I know i am not using the program anywhere near its maximum potential. I should be picking up pro tools in the next month too and turning a hall closet into a recording booth.

What is ableton live? I haven't heard of it.

Oh ya good luck with your schooling! should be fun
