Has anyone played the GRID demo on Xbox 360?

I downloaded it the other day. Very cool. Just the perfect amount of arcade so that you don't have to spend a ton of time getting good. I enjoyed it, but I have trouble spending a bunch of monies on racing games.

I cant get the cars to drift for shit. I do as much as graze my finger against "B" and the car spins out of control.

I can drift quite competently on forza.

No sense of speed like forza, car accel's to fast.. throttle needs to be tuned to the sensitivity of the controller. Damage is AWESOME, and the Straight cut gears in the 135 wine so bad ass on the surround, I loved that!

Dirt is an awesome Rally game but I can still tell that Code Masters hasnt gotten there slide physics down yet. its still point and floor it. I prefer forza 1/2 over it. Hopefully the finial game is different.

The trick I found to it is, once the back end comes out, let off the throttle then goto about half and balance it there. I did a 700,000 point combo lol.

You don't really need the e brake, I assume that's what 'B' does. Just tap it if you need it.

I don't have a problem getting good drifts going, I do have a problem hitting walls...

This is exactly how you do it....once you start using some throttle control it's super easy to drift.
