The only connection this movie had to the others were the names, the hat and the whip.

Honestly I was entertained. I expected a certain amount of cheese, thanks to Lucas hanging out on the set, but it certainly wasn't as bad as the Star Wars prequels. I enjoyed it and am recommending it to others if they show any interest.

It's no Raiders or Last Crusade, but in this age of shitty movies (Iron Man being a recent exception) I wasn't expecting greatness at all.

I was going to say you guys are being harsh, but as soon as I heard the "cgi" bit and I got it. Fucking CGI. Theres also something I cant stand about this Shia LeBoef. Just one of those things I cant stand about him. Like one of those people you dislike, but dont know why? Kinda like Andie McDowell. Ive disliked her since I was a little kid, but fuck Ive never seen a movie with her in it or anything. In my recent years Ive been warming up to her (especially since I hate disliking people before I even know anything about them) but I dunno. Wierd. It happens a lot with music too. I used to DESPISE the Beach Boys. Now I can listen to their songs and appreciate the musicianship and singing chops theyve shown. I dunno. Im rambling. ugh.

On another note. I havent seen the movie but I would like to. And Last Crusade is by far my favorite.

It made money because people were interested (and let down) not because it was good.

Russia does have a history about being weird with psychic stuff.

That movie sucked huge donkey balls. Seriously. It was like having a donkey blow its load in your face. It was so corny and crappy. The bad guy (gal) was so poorly introduced and stereotypical. His "sidekick" was absolutely retarded. I wanted that kid to be thrown off a cliff or at least melted up Raiders style.

    I hated it.
It did not match up at all to the other Indiana Jones movies. Even without all of those to live up to, it still sucked.

K- since you are bringing up Russia specifically, I think that a plug for "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" movie should be plugged.

Really a MUST SEE for any film buff.

I duno still havent seen it, however the nazi part of the raiders was alot more believable(minus all the far out stuff face melting and invisible bridges) just because the nazi's really looked for religious stuff like that back in the day, hitler was a nut for that kinda stuff. However ive never heard of russia giving 2 craps about artifacts and stuff../rant

    Saw it tonight.

A few of you have it covered pretty well. CORNY!!!!

It didn't even feel like an Indiana Jones movie. And it just got more and more ridiculous (with an "i").

I'm more upset about giving them my money for a poorly made movie than anything else.

Edit, Raiders was the best one.
