hey guys i want to build an e30 scale model. i was looking for a kit but cant find any of the e30. I know some people on here build models too, so where to you get your kits from?

I bought a Japanese labeled model car kit for early model E30 with Mtech kit from Hobby Lobby. 4 dolla.

I see them every now and then. The bigger hobby stores usually have at least a few BMW's

Ebay is the best place to find them. They are made by Fujimi. Revell also has one but it's just a reboxed Fujimi model just with smoked windows and lights. For the regular e30 expect to pay from $5-$25. Alpina, Hartge, or a Kamei e30 $30-$50 (the Hartge is being made again but is in Asia) M3 $25-$50 (also being made again but in Asia also). They are also all euro early bodys (83-85) Sometimes you can find one for dirt cheap and don't have to pay the higher prices that they usally go for.
