    BiBi SER

This is/was my buddys SER. Story goes he was at his new GFs house, and her ex came by and saw his car. Well he is still all pissed off about her or something, so grabs a 2x4 and busts out all of the windows in the SER. Then busted off the driver mirror, and snapped the antenna. Finally he takes his truck, smashed the back end in, pushed the SER over a curb, and sends it down a ditch.

Pretty shitty, now insurance claims they will only cover the glass because that was vandalism, and the body damage is an "accident" and hes supposedly not covered for it. He has comprehensive though so I don't see why he wouldn't. Its still preliminary, this shit happened last night. But I guess they want to file 2 claims, 1 for the damage done by the 2x4, and 1 for the car to car damage. I say file it as vandalism and a hit and run. We shall see what happens.

hmm, makes me wonder what the other side of the story is to be honest. we all (well, most of us) have ex-girlfriends, with new boyfriends, whose cars we have not vandalized. what gives?!? either the ex is a little off kilter (entirely possible), or the new guy did something to seriously irk homeboy to make him feel his actions were warranted. iirc, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction...

That's BS. It's all vandalism, whether the guy hit it with a 2x4 or with his truck. Vandalism is vandalism, it should be covered by comprehensive.

Tell your buddy to make his "new" girlfriend his "ex". I see nothing but problems in his future with that broad.

No, he just started seeing this chick. The ex is just fucked up in the head, he wasn't provoked at all. He's one of those guys that "all the cops know"

I'm all for resolving things in a mature manner, but the buck stops when someone vandalizes a car that an enthusiast (no matter how good or bad their tastes are) owns. I'd say, the next time he sees the guy's truck, give him the same treatment. There's absolutely no reason to handle a disagreement so gayly.

Yeah, the ex is a twatwaffle. Everyone knows you get back at a bitch by banging all her friends.
