Divine Heresy was supposed to play here with Chimaira, Terror and Kataklysm a few months back, but the PA system fried during the sound test, and a replacement couldn't be found. They still let everyone in, and all the bands came out and hung out with everyone for like 3-4 hours. I got my Divine Heresy poster signed by Dino Cazares (HUGE Fear Factory fan here), and all the rest of the guys, and the guys in Terror gave me a free t-shirt.

August is what I'm stoked for. Killwhitneydead and Carnifex. Hells yes.

Opeth is coming to town again. I'm probably going to see At the Gates as well.

Just saw The Expendables at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz. Fuckin' amazing show. I'm gonna see Pepper and Rebelution at the same venue next month.

My brother just got to go to Sasquatch, while I worked 30 hours in 3 days. I'm jealous

The lineup is too big to post a list, but its 3 days long

I saw Divine Heresy, Badass fucking show..... Im looking forward to Wind's of plauge and Darkest Hour in August. There are other's but that's what im excited most for. Ive seen countless band's being here in Austin and so close to S.A. Which has a huge metal scene. I hear it's pretty wild in Socal... Like all the time for the undeground stuff, Which I love. Unsigned=Gold alot of the time. I have Angela Gossow’s signature on a Arch enemy shirt!!!!!

Those where the days. I have not seen him in years. There are some late 90's /early 00's DeeJay's I would still give internal organs to see live.

Saw Rush last night in Edmonton. Unbelievable show, I cannot believe how talented all three of those guys are. Not sure if it is because they have been on tour for over a year or if his age is just catching up with him but Geddy's voice was a little worse for wear at the beginning and the end of the show. Even more shrill than usual on the high notes. Still an amazing show though, no opener and they played for just over 3 hours. Not bad for a group of guys closing in on 60.

Shows I am getting ready for I have tickets to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers when they come to town in August and tickets to see Ted Nugent at the end of July.
