Hey man, screw Josh and his car :).
You seemed to look and feel good the couple of times that I've see you. I hope the majority of your time is spent like that!

Thanks to the Taco Bell thread my faith has already been tested once. I get weird cravings for things I never normally eat and thanks to the Taco Bell thread I suddenly had the craving for cheap fast food mexican right after my treatment. 2hrs after eating most all of it came back up and then some.

I slept damn near 12 hours last night and I still feel like a pile of crap. To bad I have to help Josh get his car put back together.

I am soooo there, my friend. I took a look back at some of the very first few posts I made on my cancer blog and even then I was ready to be done with it. I had myself a nice little setback with two completely new surprises that netted me a few day in the hospital. I came out with no definitive answers on what was wrong so it's been eggshells lately.

It gets better though. Your faith will be tested, so be ready for it.

    Treatment 6 - Cycle 3 Ends

I cannot begin to tell you how much I hate this shit. It wouldn't be so bad if my regiment didn't take 4-5 hours to receive by infusion. I had to spend the entire time inside the infusion center with tissue shoved up my nose to avoid the chemical smells that get me nauseated. 2 more treatments to go in my final cycle and I'm not sure if I can take much more of the anxiety. I also noticed they upped my dose from 8.3mg of Adriamyacin to 9.5mg which means it could be the end of my eyebrows for now.

I'm holding on to hope that I can beat this round as good as I did the last and keep my energy levels up all weekend so I can be productive with my time off.

To those of you who don't know... I'm winning even though on some days it completely drains me, its totally worth it.

My real hope is that my next PET scan show all the Hodgkin's has been obliterated and there will be no tumors left to blast with radiation. I really really really really don't want to get radiation if I can avoid it.

Pray that the chemo is more than enough to kick the cancer's ass.

    Great update.

Can you get a cream or smth prescribed? Or would old fashioned Vaseline work?

If it makes you feel any better, at least you don't look like one of those really sickly chemo patients. You just look like a skinhead. :hitler:

    :D

I'm so glad you're doing well, Robert.

    Quick update..

Doing much better this weekend other than the fact that my bald head is peeling like crazy. Basically hanging around the house helping Josh rebuild his E30. With the 4 day weekend I hope to get some much needed relaxation.
