There is no denying that his public speaking is far better than GWs. With that said don't confuse that ability with the ability to lead a country.

As a precursor, I am not Christian nor do I tend to defend it. With that said, he quotes passages from the bible that are intended to be teaching devices not the end all truth. Secondly, just like our Declaration, the Bible is a living document; it is meant to recognize the teachings of the time it was invented and carry those traditions through time.

America was created on a belief system and it should be a living system, not stagnant. Obama argues against the stagnant belief, which takes time to slowly move away from. At the end of all this, he's still a guy with no experience once again falling back to religion (a subject with many foes) to win the appeal of mindless americans.

Are you kidding? He's a presidential candidate who is openly for the separation of church and state. How is that falling back on religion? That cocksucker huckabee fell back on religion - obama seems to be doing the opposite. Also, just because you believe the bible was written for certain purposes doesn't mean everyone else agrees. Interpretations of the bible are like asshole - everyone has one. I for one think it's a stretched out story book.
