With the exception that Mars has temperatures ranging from -225*-+81*F. According to our weather scientists (so very accurate) that place should be boiling over. Oh but wait, it has hot and cold as well...you don't say!!

    And it's "ludicrous".
The point was people on planet earth are taking the GW thing way too seriously. And our scientists really don't know what they're talking about most of the time anyways.

Sorry to make this thread stray. Back on track...

        Cool pictures though.
The average atmospheric pressure on Mars is about .087psi, compared to Earths 14.7psi, that is about 175 times the pressure of Mars. The atmosphere might be 95% CO2, but the atmosphere is very thin compared to Earth, so it is not as effective at trapping heat and maintaining a constant temperature, that is why there is such a high variance between day and night. Plus it gets about 1/4 the solar radiance compared to Earth.
CO2 is a greenhouse gas, greenhouse gases retain heat, increase temperatures, and make this planet habitable. That is fact. The effect we are having on the composition is debatable.

We don't really know much at all.
At some point we will be visiting them much more regularly and I'd imagine mining them. I see more wars in the near future.
