Was never into D&D, but my equivolent was Magic the Gathering cards.
I havent played it in years, but i have found that the older edition cards are quite valuable now.
Not that you know what it is, but a first edition "Black Lotus" card has sold for $20,000. Most are in the $2,000 to $3,000 range though.
I would say hit up ebay. Or look for a store online that buys old D&D stuff to resell, you might find a better price there.Comment
