I've had at least 12 names banned over there. Chris and his group go out of their way to protect scammers that knowingly rip off the e30 community.

This is strange. I said that a few days ago, and I believe it was on this forum. Strangely enough, I went to get on the tech today and I got this message: "you have been banned for this reason: Show some respect. Date the ban will be lifeted: June 29th @ 2 pm".

Since this thread showed up, i just went back to get a screen shot and now it says, "You have been banned for thsi reason: No reason was specified. Date ban will be lifted: Never."

Haha, oh well. I was visiting there less and less as of late. I think it's funny.

And BTW, I didn't send you that message on your site.

Well for one, Chris sells IE products through his business on the site. I politely pointed out that the exact same products could be had on ebay for over $100 less. He repeatedly deleted my posts.

He's clearly not looking out for the community.

I just got a vicious e-mail about it (contact form...anonymous) accused me of all kinds of maleficence on e30 tech saying I was banned for sending spam PMs and I was a hack grease monkey, a fag, and a liar among other things.

Too bad they didn't leave an e-mail address...

I love to respond to my detractors...

Messed up. I just registered on there to (hopefully) unload some parts, I've got way too many fucking check panels. I'm not sure what has the moderator (or moderators?) so pissed, but there have been others banned for whatever reason.

Yeah that was an attempt from a member on here to be funny. Complete failure. If it were me, I'd make it a challenge, create like 30 new user names and thread crap everywhere.

BTW, how did you create a new user name? I tried, but i believe my ip is banned or something because every time i go there, it just tells me I'm banned.
