Good luck! My car never see's a shop. The only people who have messed it up, were UTI and STEP grads. I learned my lesson then, and do it all myself now.

Honestly dood I don't trust many places with my e30 either. I was nervous about getting the tint done...then redone.

ha ha, Avondale is a shit hole! at least the campus is not in west central Phx any more. there are only 3 BMW dealers here. one in Scottsdale: Chapman BMW, there is also a Chapman BMW in central phx about 16th street and camelback. the only other one is in north Scottsdale: Scottsdale BMW North, it is owned by Penski (of racing fame). there is a cool museum there too. it might be in your best interest to apply to one of them for part time employment since you are going to try for BMW. even as a lot attendent it will look better on your apps.

actually i live in Scottsdale.
which dealer are you trying to get into?
north Scottsdale BMW has THE NICEST shops, hands down!
climate controlled (it is 75-77 deg all year round!), automatic open and closing roll up doors, catered diner above the museum

most likly in scottsdale. most of the dealer ships in avondale are at that auto mall. i would like to start working for BMW early or Mercedes Benz. i was really impressed with them when i did a job shadow there.

well, i work for Phoenix Motor Company (the oldest Benz dealer in town)
it is on 3rd street and Indian school. the SHOP is really slow right now!
the body shop is busy luckily!
if you are here in town now, I'd go and look at the different shops and see who is busy, maybe go and talk to some of the techs and see what kind of hour they are running.

i know that at my shop the hourly people are running scarred trying to stay busy or look busy since we are slow.

the arrowhead shop we just opened up is fucking nice, like penski's up north!

schumacher's (north scottsdale) is really nice too!

I think every school does student discounts on tools. I go to a really small one and we get it, its about 65%-70% off list. I started with snap on, but our rep is a fucking moron, probably never going to order from him again.

Yeah I went to a tech in North City St. Louis for a few years. It was ragged.
