Yeah, fuck that thing. It took me about 3 hours to get my glovebox back on after I swapped my dash.

that was the hardest part for me when i put a new dash in. i hate glove boxes!!!!

damn..thanks guys...i thought I was doing something wrong, but I guess its just a PITA in general...LOL.
I got mine to latch the first time aroung, but I kinda have to slam it...it will get adjusted, of course.


can I get a shot of the screws by the latch as well?

3 hours?

all you need is one of these

a 10mm deep socket and a 6" extension

line up the circle scuff marks that are in the plate that the studs go through. tighten down and check for alignment of the glove box latch.
if it is off, SLIGHTLY loosen the nuts and bump it around, tighten 2 of the bolts.
if good, tighten the rest of them.
if off then loosen the 2 and try again.

it should take 5-10 min at best
