The loss of tax revenue, increase crime and cost of processing those we arrest makes the illegals in this country cost us more than the war each year.

The war is stupid but when what we spend on defense IN TOTAL is lower than the cost of Social Security and is only 30% higher than Medicare and Unemployment/Welfare (each, not combined) socialsts policies could easily bankrupt us more quickly than the war in Iraq.

Also, economic policies are set by congress. The only house that can increase/decrease taxes and appropriate funds isnt white and at 1600 Penn.

Actually republicans presided over the longest economic expansion in modern history. They held the vast majority during the Clinton presidency.

Problem is people in this country are so ignorant of that fact they only see Clinton and think he is responsible for the budget surplus, reduced taxes, and extension of liberties. Despite the fact that the president can only veto bills, he has no power to create laws and/or budgets.

fact- the pres can only be in office for 2 terms of 4 YEARS EACH at the end of each term he must be re elected to serve the second term

fact- senators and house reps can be "in office" until they die, if continually elected and re elected. they can keep fucking it up over and over and over

if people would PAY ATTENTION TO WTF their reps were doing while in office, (remember they are supposed to be acting on your behalf and in your *his constituency's* best interest), then maybe they would wake up to the fact that the president be he democrat or republican only has so much power (veto, set the tone of his term, declare war for a short time w/o congress's approval, there are more that are not coming to mind).

i am not thrilled with either party.

try being a smart citizen and researching the candidate that you are planning on voting for, no matter what office it is. don't just be a sheep and go along party lines. decide for yourself who YOU want to represent YOU.

the last several election have been "lesser of 2 evils" elections which sucks. until people take some sort of an active roll in who is elected instead of sitting back and bitching and doing nothing, nothing will change!
