Gorgeous... Ive lived in Fresno and Visalia for probably 14 years, and Ive never made the trip there. Kinda making me wish I had. Maybe the next time I'm in Fresno I'll make a point of it. Awesome pics...

thanks everyone, fyi - these pictures do this place no justice, you really need to see it in person to grasp it. so do yourselves a favor and check it out.

how long of a hike is it?
unfortunately i didn't hike too much of it, mostly driving and stopping. did hike some spots though. only had a day to hit yosemite. i was stationed out near san francisco for the coast guard and only had the day to check out the park, really wish i had more time.

I know what you mean! Never been to Yosemite, but driven past and thru MANY beautiful areas, and my camera can in no way capture the beauty. It's just something about seeing a breathtaking sight in person that a camera cannot imitate!
I used to spend almost every weekend there rockclimbing a while ago. I never got sick of the place! Nice pix man! I'm going to make it a point to head out soon. It's definitely a must-see. If you want to see the water falls at their biggest though, go in April/early May. Anytime after that they're pretty much dry and it does get way hot in summer.
god we live in a fucking awesome country. ive visited all the national parks out west. glacier is one of my favs but i love them all. i spent most my summers as a young kid in those parks.
thanks for the pics. alaska is also sweet
Let me know when you come out I live 25 mins west of the west gate and know some other cool spots to check out not in the park. This goes for anyone else heading to glacier
