A few posts back someone says it's a Peugeot SV.
I had an old '85 Honda Elite 250 here in the U.S. and that thing would fly. I installed a Malossi clutch, multi-vair, weights and kevlar belt, filed out the weld bead in the muffler pipe and road on 10" Bridgstone hoop tires with stiffer rear shocks. It would top out at 65 mph with my 250lb frame but off the line it smoked most kitted Vespas.

Mopeds can be a blast and the 90mpg doesnt hurt.

My old Suzuki FA50 was a piece of garbage. But the 85 honda spree was awesome. Knee scraping right hand turns at a blistering 30mph. when it started running like crap I took it to a freind of my dads who was good with two strokes. I remember him hogging out the carb throat with a die grinder and redrilling the jets and fitting a home made expansion chamber exhaust among other things (this was in 1989 so I am a little foggy on the details) and my top speed went from 29.5mph to 38. That is a pretty huge percentage increase. Mileage went down to about 65mpg though. I didnt care it cost less than a buck to fill it up.

The kids on vespas would give me crap about my plastic toy but I would jump curbs and beat it to death and it just kept on going.

I think about getting another one all the time but my expanding mid 30's body would look just a little bit stupid on one now.

Ive got a 1977 Puch maxi with hydro forks and a swingarm from a puch magnum. I rebuilt the engine with a powerdynamo CDI, Giladoni 80cc cyl and 24mm mikuni carb. Custom made pipe

Bike was clocked by a radar gun at 76MPH on lakeshore drive in chicago. Ive done over 80 here in jersey on Rt1 clocked by car.

Ruckus' are gay. A GY6 swap makes them fast, but it still doesn't help the whole bike.

Technically these are all scooters. Naplm00 has an actual moped.
Theres a 76cc puch around here that I've been wanting, but it's a whole nother realm that I don't really want to get into.
