Help with Computer issue

hey guys im having a weird problem. Im using Firefox3 and when i open it up it takes me to my Gmail account no problem. i can email and read my emails. but then if i go to another website and try to go back to my mail, it just sits there and doesnt load up. the same for myspace. i cant get on that. so its not just gmail. i also tried doing a google search but it does the same. i can only get to www.google.com and once i type something in, it wont change pages on me. what the heck is going on? i tried using IE7 and the same problem. i then pulled out my laptop and no problems. so its deff an issue with my PC. any help? where should i start ? what should i do? hope im clear in describing the symptoms my PC is having.

Turn off the disallow redirect, or allow google.com to do so. The browser is sensing the site noshing on your session cookie and interpreting that as a redirect.

Sounds like a DNS issue. Open up command prompt and type the following:

ipconfig /flushdns

Can you still access google? If not, it's definitely a DNS problem. Try resetting your modem/router and see if that clears things up.
