    picture request: trunk mounted tool kit

    i tried searching for it and only found one....

    can you guys post up some pics of the tool kit mounted in the trunk? im trying to find out where the tow hook/eye goes....and what tools i am missing.

    Tow hook doesn't go in the tool kit, it goes where the jack is.

            also missing the long slender part that goes down the lug pipe and the plastic adaptor end for manually putting up the windows.

            I seldom see those though. I really want to find the 19/17 wrench myself...

                      I'm about to find out. I'm sure it can be done but its going to take some patience and skill to open it up to the right size. They did make a cover for the larger tool kit but its NLA.

                            Here's the thing, You must have me mistaken for one of your friends who half asses stuff. The problem with that is, I don't. I also didn't pay for my foam, I took it out of an e28 that was in great condition, $1. How much was yours?
