the "scene" here in sarasota has lost all venues due to my friends and i getting into fights at shows because this town is full of fucking rich scene kids whose parents find it necessary to attempt to sue the venues because their stupidass scene douchebag kids start fights and end up getting hurt badly.

thankfully tampa isnt that far away and venues there dont care about fighting or anyone dancing
if people get rowdy they tell you to go outside and handle it. simple as that.
ive been in so many fights at one venue (skate park of tampa) because stupid metal bros or scene kids that dont understand the simple concept that is if YOU'RE GOING TO STAND RIGHT WHERE EVERYONE IS DACNING YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO GET HIT/HURT. also the whole "im going to stand in the front and get mad if people stage dive onto me"
get the fucking picture and stand somewhere else.

Exactly right. I got smashed in the head by some kid stagediving at Terror, and I kind of got in his face about it, but then later apologized because I realized I was being a dick, I was just pissed about getting hit in the head. If you can't handle it, stay the fuck out of the show.
