    Asshole cop

So I was out testing a camera mount I had made using http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=113387
and as I was on my way home, this cop showed up behind me and seemed to be really interested in getting in my back seat to fuck his partner in the ass.

Anyway, we get to this light and I stop on a yellow because I don't want to get shit from this cop. What does the cop do? Blow by me and run the red.

Fun thing is since I happened to be testing out the mount, I have it all recorded. Here are a few select frames. You can see me stopping at the end of the yellow, and the light is clearly red before the cop inters the intersection.

I highly doubt they would care. If anything it would just piss off a bunch of cops at me.

No lights/siren on. And he oddly enough pulled into a aptly named "suicide entrance" that cuts across the 2 lanes of high speed downhill traffic to a shopping center with available donuts.

Exactly. However, there ought to be some way to anonymously report this kind of shit though.

Yep, but this is the first time where I had a running camera at the time. Hell, with people (especially cops) as paranoid as they are from cameras, and he was behind me for surely long enough (and fucking close enough) to know what it was.

On a side note, the camera mount looks good.

In California, section 21053 VC exempts publicly owned motor vehicles from just about the entire vehicle code. The only laws they are required to comply with deal with hit & run, DUI and the display of emergency lights under certain circumstances. However, the exemption does apply to those persons and vehicles when traveling to or from their work.

My friend had this happen. He reported the cop and actually recieved a $500 reward for it.
