      Here's a 914 fuel gauge. They're identical expect for the aluminum bit in the middle.

          Definitely 914.

          EDIT: The aluminum center buttons were used on 1970 - 1972 914 models. The later 914's had the same gauges, but no buttons.

                Beware of the older Porsche gauges... The tachs get worn and get really bouncy... But, they are easily rebuildable.

                I had a 74 914 before my 325is. I like the BMW much, much, MUCH better... LOL

                        I know what you mean. I had a couple of 944's, a 968 cab, an '87 Carrera cab, and a '75 911 Targa, but i never pulled the trigger on a 914. Too many VW parts for me.

                        I would consider a 914/6 if it was already built and came with a free mechanic.
