Back on topic. I hooked up with an old friend of my room mate's and she had some interesting tattoos. The first one was on her side, and was quite large. I don't remember fully, but I think it was the outline of a tree or flower or something.

The other one she had was something like this:



It's supposed to be 666 in a circle or something. It was hidden behind her ear, so you could only see it if her hair was pulled back. It was kind of freaky but I liked it at the same time.

I'm pretty sure it's Japanese, some kind of yin-yang thing. The bassist for RATM has them on the fronts of both of his shoulders.
