    Olymics boxing....???

I just watched a boxing match between a kid from China and a kid from Zimbabwe(?) go at it.
It has to be fixed! The kid from Zim came out was was connecting one after another. The kid from China got one or two in. I look at the score and it was 6-0 for the Chinese kid.
It kept up as well. The kid from Zim had to get 2-3 clean head shots in to get a single point. But they sure as hell had points going up for the Chinese kid.
It ended at something like 20-7. WTF.

I swear this happenes every year. Boxing keeps proving they don't know how to score matches.

Lets not forget the Olymics are in China...

Sorry just had to get that off my chest.

Are you guys falling behind?? I don't see a thread for John Edwards and his cheating??

Sounds about right for boxing and China.

      Men's volleyball has more drama

"Just 12 hours after the conclusion of the majestic opening ceremony, a knife-wielding man attacked the relatives of U.S. men's volleyball coach Hugh McCutcheon, killing his father-in-law, Todd Bachman, and seriously injuring his mother in-law, Barbara, who was listed in critical but stable condition Sunday after eight hours of surgery.

The grisly attack took place in broad daylight, atop a popular tourist attraction. It happened in full view of McCutcheon's wife, Elisabeth, a former Olympic volleyball player who will be forever haunted by the vicious attack on her parents. On a personal level, it is an unspeakable tragedy.

McCutcheon was not with his team when it opened play against Venezuela, and while he spoke to his players via teleconference, it's uncertain whether he'll return to coach during the Olympics.

"We're absolutely devastated by what has occurred, and for their loss, and for everything they're going through," team leader Rob Browning said."

That is so fucked up, my dad used to work with the Bachmans. They own a large number of floral nurseries around here and from what my dad told me Todd was one of the nicest guys in the business. He was as rich as fuck and even more humble. Totally random attack that was completely senseless.

I just watched the re-run of that match on UniversalHD. It was China & Zambia with a final score of 21-4. They need about a 10 point standard error on all scores because the Zambia guy connected atleast 3 times for every one point. All the matches that I've seen so far seem to be going that way.

funny i see this thread...because i was just mentioning this to my bro. Almost every boxing match i have watched during the Olympics i hear the announcers say something along the lines of

"i dont know what match the refs are watching, but they clearly arent seeing all the points scored"
