Most of the Maya actually disappeared... We haven't been able to figure out where they went although there are ideas out there.... And european diseases and superior weapons helped somewhere along the line I'm sure. WHO KNOWS.

The transition between signs is what I'm worried about... but this discussion isn't for this thread, or r3v I've come to realize. Potential pole shifts, sunspot cycles and God knows what else... some say that we're approaching a "cleansing" part of the galaxy. The Maya knew their shit... and that's why the Spanish Missionaries destroyed their culture's sacred texts. Same with the Native Americans. Everything will balance itself out in the end though... this comic cheers me up:

It just simply ends the current astrological cycle, It does NOT mean the world is going to end (if you think that).

alpha-n isn't really a "thing", it simply refers to the method used to calculate engine load and thus injector opening time. Basically, it correlates throttle opening directly with engine load, which works on ITB engines that are basically at WOT all the time (ie race cars) - but not something you'd want to drive to the grocery store with. Unless you are talking about an alpha-N specific branded ECU, but you can get almost any standalone that will do the same thing..

as far as the US dollar, me and the wife NEED to get our money out of canada, we've already lost 5% on the dollar since a month ago. the US dollar being so low and other currencies being so high just mean that exports are going to be way up, eventually it will balance out.
