Get it organic/ from a dairy farm. Humans can live on a vegan diet also, it comes down to preference. Most other countries don't have the GMOs and crap that is legal in our foods anyway. If your kid is allowed chicken fingers, breads, Mac and cheese, pizza, mcdonalds, kids frozen meals, products, crackers, cookies, etc, milk is your least concern. The majority of US foods contain GMOs. It's not just milk and dairy. The only way you're truly "safe" fr these products is to grow your own foods, raise your own livestock, and don't consume anything you don't grow/raise/kill. Blaming just milk is ignorant. Kids are also over vaccinated.

Don't want to even get started. My youngest daughter (age 7) is starting to get hairs in her arm pits, doc said to take her off animal milk and farm raised chicken immediately or she is at risk of having daily hormone-suppressant IV shots.

Dairy association makes it hush hush that calcium is added to milk to compensate the calcium it robs from your body, and is the leading cause in osteoporosis - AKA calcium deficiency to the point that your bones snap easily.

Sorry, has nothing to do with our mug shots, but had to say it - kinda hits home :(

Cows milk is delicious and incredible. I can't drink less than 2%. I've had soy milk, meh. Allergic to almonds so almond milk is a no go. Rice milk? Not worth the carbs.

There's nothing like a creamy delicious glass of milk, especially organic.

Oh yeah, I live in the Portland area where I believe it is even more beer-crazy. I have come to prefer good quality spirits though over beer, such as Gin!

Good for you. You should check out hemp and rice milk.

I do still drink beer, but really not all that much. I live in one of the most beer-crazy cities in the country, and there's a million and a half varieties to choose from. I *MAYBE* have a beer or two every other day. Spirit alcohol, hardly ever.

The only milk I drink is 1%, usually in the occasional bowl of cereal I eat, or a glass or two with certain dinner meals. Other than that, I drink a Darigold Refuel as a post-workout recovery. It's lowfat/lactose free chocolate milk, with added vitamins, and a boosted 3 to 1 carb-to-protein ratio, 20g of protein. I took a bottle to my gym to show to the owner/nutritionist, and he said he thought it looked great, and he loved that it didn't have 50 ingredients.

    Oh, and I'm 6' 1".

    This.

Soda is death, refined sugar is death, processed meats and processed anything is death. The key to health and staying thin is nutrition, which comes mostly from whole fruits, vegetables, and nuts. I believe Flexitarianism is one of the best ways.

By the way, this is all coming from someone who eats like what I explained above:

And it hasn't been a year since I've been working at this, probably 5 months, max. I've only been going to the gym for about 2 months or so, 4-5 times per week. I stopped eating fast food and junk about 5 months ago, lost almost 20 lbs. in about 2 months. Then stopped drinking all soda, and cut out probably 75% of my sugar intake. Stopped drinking Red Bull about a month ago, if I drink anything besides water now, it's probably kombucha. I've also started transitioning toward organic/natural foods, and non-processed meats/products.
