    years of soccer + badass PPO = surgery on both meniscus in my left knee paid @ 100% FTW...

    A little nervous...



    watching some news at six-something in the morning while having my knee shaved. (nurse joking about how she might need new batteries or another pair of clippers)



    no extra batteries needed...



    drool drugged and minutes before the knock-out drip... (all I remember was being wheeled into the OR and hearing some Audioslave loud as hell and thinking wtf) Woke up feeling like Earling or having some more drip...

        I did the internal one on my right knee. It was never the same. Still hurts from time to time.

            The pain is completely gone for mine... Although I can still feel my knee sometimes clicking and shit. I'm good though, it's like he said, I'm back to playing and at the same level and all that although; I'm sure later on in life that trimming of the cartilage will render me damn near painfull/useless. In the meantime, I'm am, more than words can explain, joyous to be back on the field schooling cats. That is my most happiest environment. (drinking gallons of bier comes in a close 2nd though:)

            I remember the doc coming in for my post MRI and saying "you are lucky", "you didn't tear your exterior; you tore both the ext and int"
