Yan, you look like something out of American History-X! Cool pic, but scary  .
Eta, snowmobiling looks like good times and camping is the best. Been a long time since I've done any real camping. Where is that?
That was a year ago, and it was in Garret County, Deep Creek Lake. Those trees are some of the oldest evergreens in the northeast, something over 300 years. That was the largest we found. This year, the short guy (nkell09) and I went to Ohiopile in Somerset County PA. We've got a coleman pioneer pop-up camper. I should find the pic.
The last time I did any "real" camping, well, at least in the mountains, was the Blue Ridge jobbers around North Carolina. Went to Ridgecrest and did the church group thing. There were some that pitched their tents on slopes and some on slopes with the door facing toward the slope. They all wound up bunched at the bottom in a ball in the morning, but the worst thing was it rained and they got soaked. Buncha dummies.
Since then, my camping has been limited to State parks, backyards, parent's property in the country, etc. Would love to go back and do some real hiking and camping in the mountains.
My last trip was in the same area where they filmed last of the mohicans, with a guy who was a consultant on the film, cool deal
That is just badass. I loved that movie. I could watch it again right now if I had it. Some beautiful mountains.
Maybe when I finish school and actually have a real job with real money and real time off, I will come up, we could do an E30 meet, do some mountain driving and then camp all weekend. Who's bringin the s'mores?:p
Oh, and of course the guitars and guns will be a must.;-)

I like that, "real" camping. Dont worry, Im an eagle scout, Ive dont plenty of real camping, not just one of the yuppies who goes out on the weekend. Id do it again anytime, but hey, if I've got my camper with ac and tv, why not. I wouldnt mind doing an overnighter just packing up the e30 and finding somewhere to camp.

I wasn't pickin' at you at all. Pop-up campers are cool and all, I just prefer the tent thing. Pop-ups unfortunately can't go hiking with you and can't be pitched just anywhere. But just being out there is the main thing.
