Well, can you? I need to know. Standard 1/2 BBL keg (16-1/8" Diameter) in the trunk, yes or no?

Pony keg fits well into the spare tire area (without the stud). Fullsize keg wont clear.

No thanks, I'd rather not take the chance on ruining my brand new leather seats with creases and shit. Not to mention I will be on some twisty roads so it needs to stay put. I want to fit it in the trunk. And I will have a spare with me, so the tire well isn't an option. I'm not cutting the stud out either. I want to lay it flat, in the trunk.

Seriosuly, no one knows if it will fit? How tall is the trunk from the botom floor to the lid?

Given that criteria, the trunk is not an option. If you used the appropriate amount of towels, you should be able to do just fine with the interior for the keg.

Trunk is not going to work by a long shot.

I have a solution for keeping it steady in the trunk, no worries there ;)

Anyone near their e30? want to measure the floor-to-lid height for me?

From the trunk floor to the ledge where the latch is located is about 15 inches and the gap from the edge of that ledge to the hump for the top is about 16 inches.

So 15 inches deep and 16 inches wide.

LOL, should have just texted me man. Answer is no, by the way. At least for a 15.5gal; not sure about a Deschuttes 13.2 though.

duh, I should have guessed you've tried it before :)

Ya it's the standard 1/2 BBL, 15.5 gallon variety. OK, next step is to find some way of securing it in the back seat I guess.

you could just get pony kegs and put like 2-3 in the trunk easy i would believe

Dock sales have limited selection, pony kegs may or may not be available.
