    Sony Bravia Opinion

I am getting a 26" LCD for my new room so I can have cable, my PC and my Mac connected to one screen.

By far the sharpest, fastest, brightest and generally most beautiful image I saw at Sears, and Best Buy was that of the Sony Bravia. At $600 it was not a bargain, but it was just so beautiful!

Has anyone had experience with these things?

Oh 22" is plenlty large enough, but the Bravia is only in 19 and 26 inches... nothing larger for me...

I picked up a 42" Sony Bravia XBR3 last year...payed a pretty penny for it, however couldn't be happier.
Spent some time comparing report card stats against competitors, and actual visual test drives in store- and the XBR3 had the "crispest" cleanest picture when mated with a blueray movie.

I'm by no means an' AV expert- yet can confidently suggest you cannot go wrong with Sony and their Bravia line of lcd's.

here's an aritcle I kept while I was in the market for a lcd.

    good luck!

So I guess you found a job if you are buying $600 TVs?

      Just fucking with you.

For some reason I have been a Sony hater all my life, with the exception of the PS consoles.

Found a job, sort of. and hopes are rising. I have been in need of retail therapy all summer and this is the ONE thing I have narrowed down to buy. Won out over the Nikon d200!

Not making a purchase for a month or so, but doing my homework.

This thing made my peter swell when I saw it in the store.

bravias are really great, but very expensive compared to others. many samsungs use the same LCD panels as sony does but charges less for them. if i could afford a bravia over a samsung i probably would buy the bravia just because its a sony and i like sony and ive always had quality stuff from them, but...i cant.

Yep! Last year I bought my 46inch XBR3 and adore the thing to death.. Fantastic picture quality, tons of inputs, and also works as a nice 1920X1080 Computer Monitor :D
