im pretty much just trying to get out and see as much as i can right now. being 19 i have really only seen socal and hawaii. it'd be nice to get out an experience what the world has to offer

And not bad for the band, to bad they arent doing a home tour (further south), or I'd go see them.

Not to sound like a party pooper, but asking for housing for your band (4-5 people) from people you've never met online... far stretch. I'm sure people can help you find cheap places to stay though.

Im more interested in the type of people in different areas more than anything else. i just want to meet some geniune people since all you seem to find in LA are actors/writers/rock stars/bums.

we do shows around here all the time, theres one coming up on the 23rd i believe if you want i can PM you the flyer.

I would have no problem with that, but my wife is really touchy about that stuff. Very stuffy about it. Maybe if we had a bigger house I could get her to agree. Sorry man. I do love Portland overall though. Minus a few very big issues.
