    Where to buy designer fabric?

Does anybody know where to buy Coach fabric? I am trying to make a Coach shift boot for my girlfriend's 135 for her birthday but i have been unable to locate a source for the fabric.
If anybody has any leads, that would be greatly appreciated.

Specifically, I'm looking for the black on black Coach fabric.

    Thanks

    Erik

    No black on black though.

    Google search ftw.

    I'll keep looking.

Check to see if you have any fabric outlet type stores around. Not like big chains, but locally owned places.

There is a place called Textile Fabrics in Nashville, they will typically care some b-stock designer fabrics, even though they don't list it on their website. That stuff can run like $80-100 a yard, and that's for discounted b-stock styles.

I found that link too, and sent them two emails and have gotten no response. There is no other way of contacting them. I haven't been able to find any other sources.

yea man i bought black on black coach material, i found it someplace. I don't remember where I bought it, but basically, the stuff isn't that good. It doesn't have UV protection and it fades really easy. I had them made for my e30, but they need to be remade already

Downtown LA in the garment district. Maybe I should start bringing products to market? It's only 35 min away from me.

Yeah trent, I knew somebody else had this, but just forgot it was you. If you remember where you got it, or happen to have any spare material, let me know.
That sucks about the quality, but she's planning on tinting the windows anyways, so it won't be receiving too much UV radiation.

Farbin, if you happen to be going to that area anytime soon, please buy some for me and just let me know how much to pay you.

I'm already late giving this too her, so any help is appreciated.

So, after emailing them I found out they do have black Coach fabric, but the minimum order is 5 yards...

                          Anybody have any other leads?

I tried to search my email to see where I bought mine. I don't think it was windy city.
Wherever I bought mine also had a minimum order. I think I have 2 yards of it. I just moved and I have no idea where the leftovers is. I have about 1 1/2 yards still left. I do not know when I will be able to find it.

trent, thanks for searching through your email to try to find the company. If you happen to find your leftover fabric, or the name of the company, please let me know.

A 2 yard minimum is acceptable, but I can't drop 200 dollars for 5 yards of fabric just to make a shift boot.
