I like the amp and sub set up in the back seat area there. I'm getting rid of my back seat anyway and was going to do something like Coop's set up, but if I do end up putting a stereo in the car, I'll probably try to do something along those lines. Nice and clean. Do you have any more pictures of what it looks like and how you constructed it?

I should have taken pictures when I made it as it's kinda complicated. It's a pine framework with a trapezoidal box underneath for the sub that was glued and screwed to the MDF top. The top is in two pieces and the top half covering the amp must be put in AFTER the box is installed ( IE it aint coming out without taking it apart.

Interesting. I like the layout though. I'd probably try to make it a little more user friendly though if for whatever reason you want to take it out or rearrange something. It's certainly got ideas spinning in my head though.

It does the job well ( USB/Bluetooth/MP3/ 3x 5v preamp outputs ). I suppose I could have went with Lair logic and found something that looked good but didn't work well in reality.

The beauty of it is though, it's not going to get ripped off unless they ruin it.

Yeah, especially for cars that are always outside and around cities. I'd rather let someone gank my stereo system than destroy my 2002 that I'm fixing up slowly, and tens of thousands of dollars later. It'll always have a car cover or in covered storage anyway, like a garage :P

for ones blunt and i can see eye to eye! lol! so fucking funy! sounds judt like what one of my best friends would say!
i know it would be front heavy! but i have seen an s50 2002 and they are bad. i would actualy rather have a lighter engine. i wasn't %100 serious when i said i wanted an s50 in my next 2002. id much rather have a turbo m20. s14's are just to costly to build.

I never bought a thing from Al Canuck the shitbag. I got this set from the guy on Ebay that only sells what he already has made.

I did have a fund raiser for the FAQ to try and purchase Al's last carpet set. If we got enough money we were going to purchase it, take a dump on it and send it back to him. We were a bit short but the FAQ got 150$ in donations on that one.

Sorry to hear your deuce got whacked.

One of my friends has a POS flipface HU that's stuck mid-flip. I'll box it up and ship it to Piney so he can use it for parts when his shits the bed.

In the meantime, keep rockin' the Star Trek stereo in the vintage car.

Dude, you own yourself constantly. I'm waiting for the next installment of Lairs logic.
